Justin was introduced to the transportation industry while attending Drake University after his time on the football field and obtaining a Business Management degree.  He secured an internship with one of the industry leading and largest 3PL’s; upon graduation he transferred to Chicago working full time for the company.  An opportunity then arose to partner up with Anthony Apa Jr to begin a private 3^rd Party Logistics Management Firm called Mark-it Express.  As the Vice President, Justin oversees the brokerage division, managing the team and operations.  Since it’s inception in 2009, Mark-it Express has enjoyed tremendous growth, with recent recognitions by Inc 5000 and Crain’s Chicago Fast Fifty.

Justin is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family and golfing in his free time.  Justin counts the local restaurants, different neighborhoods and the city skyline as his favorite things about Chicago.
